I have been passionate about movement all of my life. I started dancing at the age of four. Throughout my life I have trained in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet, and I recently achieved Grade 7 with High Honors. I continue to teach both formal ballet and other dance forms five days a week.
I majored in dance in college, receiving a BFA (High Honors) in Dance from one of the best programs in country: Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Upon graduation I continued dancing professionally in New York City (NYC) as well as teaching yoga for which I am certificated. While in NYC I also worked as a personal trainer. The ability to effect positive change in student’s lives — physically, spiritually, and intellectually — quickly became my life passion.
I attended my first CrossFit class in Maryland on a whim. I quickly fell in love with how CrossFit pushed me forward both as an athlete and as a person while enhancing my dance skills. I also found friendship and encouragement within the CrossFit community. I am forever grateful to discover a discipline that scientifically integrates physical movement and mental acumen while furthering my passion for teaching and working with students from all walks of life. CrossFit has changed my life for the better!
